SIGN YOUR KIDS UP TODAY TO THE YEO VALLEY ROCK STARS.
RockSolid Race is the ultimate outdoor obstacle race for adults and now, the team behind this fantastic event has created a special children’s obstacle course for RockSolid 2015 – The Yeo Valley Rock Stars!
RockSolid Race began in Escot Park in Exeter in 2013. The beautiful private parkland surrounding Escot House was transformed with 50 specially-made obstacles over a 5k & 10k route, and this is where the first 2015 event will also take place on Saturday 21st March.
There are different route lengths available, all of which are challenging and brilliant fun. Plus, you can also race to raise money for your favourite charities.
The kids’ race, The Yeo Valley Rock Stars, is a 1km mini obstacle course full of fun things for young racers to tackle, such as tunnels, straw pyramids and, of course, plenty of mud! The event is split into two age groups – 5-7 year olds, and 8-12 year olds, to make sure everyone is safe and challenged.
For every Yeo Valley Rock Star that takes part, there will be the chance to win a day of fantastic outdoor adventures (and lunch!) for themselves and an adult at Calvert Trust Exmoor – a wonderful Devon-based charity that does incredible work with disabled people, giving them a chance to enjoy outdoor activities.
To be in with a chance of winning, we’re encouraging every child who participates to raise £10 each for this wonderful cause with a target of raising £10,000 for Calvert Trust Exmoor. There are four prize days up for grabs – one for each of the race-winners in the two age categories, one for the child who raises the most money overall, and one extra winner, for the muddiest photo!
If you think your whipper-snappers would love to get outdoors, get muddy and become Rock Star racers, don’t delay and sign them today HERE.
